The Role:
We’re hiring our #2 Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the MAAT Sales team.<
This role isn’t for everyone. You should be comfortable picking up the phone, talking to gym owners, understanding how their business work, and showing them how to run it better.
Role Progression:
- Phase 1 (first 3–5 months): Generate outbound pipeline for the sales team
- Phase 2: Own full sales cycles independently and directly impact company growth
Your Mission:
- Generate qualified leads through outbound activities, month after month
- Educate gym owners on the value of MAAT via cold calls in your territory
- Keep CRM data clean and up to date (opportunities, accounts, notes)
- Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing on acquisition strategy
- Manage your pipeline end-to-end: prospecting → demos → closing
About You:
- Experience: We value grit, passion and ambition over CVs. Previous experience in sales, preferably in a software company selling to SMBs, and experience in a early stage start-up are a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; you build rapport fast
- Languages: English + French / Portuguese / German
- Sports mindset: Genuine interest in sports, bonus if you’re into combat sports
- Self-starter: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and you get sh*t done
- Adaptable: Comfortable with change in a fast-paced startup environment
